As the successor to the CA49, the CA401 retains the popular Grand Feel Compact keyboard, but gets the new Shigeru Kawai EX Competition Grand Piano sound with Progressive Harmonic Imaging technology. The grand piano used for the sampling is a unique instrument used exclusively in international piano competitions and specially prepared for this purpose. Recorded from the player's position, this new reproduction of Shigeru Kawai's top piano features a brilliant, clear sound with expressive response.
CA401 features:
NEW: SK-EX Competition Grand Piano Sound, specially recorded from the player's position
NEW: New speaker tuning with a new, high-quality power supply
NEW: Bluetooth audio for wireless audio playback
Improved: control panel with new layout
Improved: Housing with ergonomic pedal position and music holder pins
The speaker system of the CA401 not only benefits from a new speaker tuning, but also from a new power supply that offers a particularly stable performance and optimally supports the work of the amplifier in all situations and ensures a clearer sound.
Also new is the integration of Bluetooth audio in addition to Bluetooth MIDI. Both components use the latest version 5 standard for lower latency, more stable connections and better sound quality.
The CA401 features a new, intuitive control panel and a 2.5-inch OLED display.
The case design has also undergone some changes. Most notable are the pedals, which have been moved back for an ergonomic, comfortable position, and the new music stand pins.
