A process unlike any other in the world!

Producing a clean, powerful sound, StaveCraft snare drums are an amazing addition to any professional player's sound environment. Each 25mm thick drum is made of two layers of Makha meticulously beveled. Thanks to a principle exclusive to these snare drums, an additional sleeve made of exotic Thai oak wood is inserted into the central Dado channel formed by each sleeve. This "Dado-Loc" joint system increases the total strength of the snare drum by 50%.

The barrel is then slatted to a perfectly round 25mm thickness, hand-lacquered and fitted with our Swivel Tube Lugs and MasterCast cast-iron counter rings for added volume and tuning precision.

The revolutionary SR-150 features an internal nylon "C" clip that secures the trigger arm to the tension knob, preventing the lever from disengaging and the tension knob from loosening, even at very low tension.
