The SM7dB is a dynamic vocal microphone with built-in preamp offering up to +28 dB of noise-free, linear and transparent gain, ideal for most audio interfaces and simple audio chains.

Preamp boost selection: +18 dB or +28 dB additional gain
Extended and linear frequency response ensuring excellent quality pickup on vocals and instruments
Bypass switch deactivates the preamp, returning to the original characteristics of the SM7B
EQ controls: bass cut and midrange boost (for added presence)

Internal air-damped isolation virtually eliminates transmission of mechanical noise
Very effective anti-pop filter, which eliminates the need to add additional protection against plosives, even when close to singing or speaking
